YuuZoo China to be marketed through GSM’s TV shows, which enjoy high viewership in China.

Yuuzoo Corporation, has signed a tri-party agreement with Xin Lei Network Technology (Shanghai) Co Ltd, and Great Sports Media Co Limited (GSM) - the Sport, Lifestyle and Casual Gaming division of Shanghai Media Group.

According to the Singapore-headquartered social e-commerce platform company's media statement, this partnership is aimed at developing and marketing a fully localised version of its social m- and e- commerce mega network, www.yuuzoo.com.

In this partnership, YuuZoo will set up and host YuuZoo China (www.yuuzoo.cn), a new social m- and e-commerce virtual mega-shopping mall, which incorporates over 200 social shopping networks. On the other hand, GSM will market it across China by linking it to its television shows.

The partnership kicked off with the marketing of a theme-based social e-commerce network for SMG's flagship 24-hour sports channel, whereby fans can engage, socialise and interact with followers across China.

Through YuuZoo China, fans can watch live events, participate in sports and gaming competitions, post their comments and pictures, as well as purchase merchandise and services linked to the theme of the network.

The social e-commerce networks built on YuuZoo's platform enable brands and businesses to achieve "brand control, data ownership, consumer engagement, and monetisation," the company said in a media statement. It added that the social e-commerce networks developed on YuuZoo's platform link to all of these four areas, and are complementary to GSM's and SMG's business aspirations in embracing new social networking and e-commerce.

"China is the world's largest market by number of consumers. It represents a massive opportunity for YuuZoo. Our full focus is on offering Chinese consumers new and better solutions, by bringing in new features such as mobile-optimised social e-commerce, offering both local and global merchandise, and personalised hyper-targeted advertising that the consumer can control, combined with mobile loyalty cards," said Thomas Zilliacus, Chairman and CEO of YuuZoo.

"Great Sports Media is the ideal partner to market this to the Chinese consumers. We are extremely happy to have signed this exclusive partnership agreement, and look forward to offering the Chinese consumers something radically new. We are confident that our partnership with Xin Lei and GSM will result in the emergence of a new leading social e-commerce market player in China," he added.
