Wipro to build global IT infra for Takeda Pharmaceuticals

The Japanese drug manufacturing giant standardizes info tech architecture worldwide

The Japanese drug manufacturing giant Takeda Pharmaceuticals is now standardizing  its IT architecture worldwide and global IT services company Wipro will be its strategic partner in this undertaking.

A press statement by Wipro said this partnership means it will be Takeda Pharmaceuticals' primary provider of IT infrastructure management and services.

In doing so, it will build and maintain for Takeda Pharmaceuticals an "as-a-service" global platform for Takeda.

Such a platform will be available to 30,000 users worldwide speaking in 16 different languages operating out of data centres in Asia, Europe and America.

Wipro is a Bangalore, India-based IT services and consultancy services provider with clients in 61 countries.
