The Content Suite Platform is an enterprise content management system (ECM) designed to manage the flow of information, ensure agile information governance, as well as reduce risk for organisations.

Enterprise Information Management software provider OpenText, announced today that its Content Suite Platform has been selected by the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) to manage its new technology initiative.

This new technology initiative refers to the web portal, which is aimed at strengthening its information management systems through enhanced efficiency.

According to its media statement, ASEAN Online is built on OpenText’s Content Suite Platform and applications, which allows ASEAN Member States and the ASEAN Secretariat to support the internal sharing of business critical data and information in a more secure environment on-the-go.

“The ASEAN Secretariat is focusing on strengthening our capabilities in information technology and management systems to provide effective support for our ASEAN Member States, in our effort to realize the ASEAN community objective and goals,” said AKP Mochtan, Deputy Secretary-General of ASEAN for Community and Corporate Affairs.

“OpenText has been working closely with our IT team in tailoring the ASEAN Online web portal to enhance the Secretariat’s technology know-how as a critical priority area. We look forward to the exciting new features that the ASEAN Online web portal offers. This includes accessing data stored in the cloud via traditional web browser and mobile platforms, an important feature as it will enable our employees to access important documents on-the-go in a secure environment,” he added.
